Background and countertop of salmon pink silk, brocade motifs in spun gold and polychrome silks.
The exotic motifs include indented leaves arranged diagonally, twisted branches and flowers and among these some abstract decorations and other small polychrome flowers. The drawing reveals the last phase of the bizarre motifs that had a brief fortune in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century fashion.
