Chausable, 60 x 95 cm - France, Early Eighteenth Century
On a green satin silk background there is a trimmed motif in white profiled silk, bordeaux and silver yarn. Inside the laced ogives with leaves,it is not perceived because of the chausable’s packaging, there is an exuberant exotic inflorescence with details in spun silver. It is a unique fabric that has a lace pattern, made between the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century.
